عن بريدة بن الحصيب الأسلمي رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:«مَنْ قَرَأَ القُرْآنَ، وَتَعَلَّمَهُ، وَعَمِلَ بِهِ، أُلْبِسَ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ تَاجًا مِنْ نُورٍ، ضَوْؤُهُ مِثْلُ ضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ، وَيُكْسَى وَالِدَاهُ حُلَّتَيْنِ لَا تَقُومُ بِهِمَا الدُّنْيَا، فَيَقُولَانِ: بِمَ كُسِينَا هَذَا؟ فَيَقَالُ: بِأَخْذِ وَلَدِكُمَا القُرْآنَ».
